The amiable staff were more than willing to share the story behind each ingredient, which added a thoughtful touch to the dining experience. Breakfast, sourced from local farms, offered a lovely variety, catering to every taste. I enjoyed a freshly cooked selection that fueled my day ahead. Relaxing in the garden with a drink was a serene way to unwind, enhancing the overall ambience. I was particularly charmed by my room's views over the common and valley, which made the stay feel special.
